Lists Lists Lists!

Hello my friends!

It's so easy to just run into the store without a list, and buy whatever looks good or useful at the time, isn't it?  Or, let's say that you have multiple lists (like myself) for all of the different stores you shop at, and they either get lost or left at home (like I've done MANY times!).  Well recently, I came up with the idea of designating one page of my bullet journal to my multiple store lists to see how that would work.  Guess what??  It has helped me numerous times already to get all of my shopping done at the three main places I shop at without forgetting that specific store's list, or losing it at some point between the kitchen where my lists always start, to my car where they are supposed to end up when I head to that store!  I make a mental note (which is actually working!) to take my bullet journal with me whenever I leave the house.  So when I'm in town I not only have my to-do list, etc., but I have ALL of my store lists in one place, not just floating around in the abyss of my purse!  This has helped me to be so much more organized!  I feel like I can't go anywhere without my bullet journal anymore.

Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below!  I would love to hear more ideas about bullet journal use!

Have a blessed day!

Weekly Menu

Hello!

Another new way that I have tried using my bullet journal is with my family's weekly menu.  Now, I'm usually not very organized with my cooking and hardly ever have a menu period like I used to!  So I thought that I would give this approach a try.

The first week I tried it it seemed to be pretty helpful.  But my second time (this week) it didn't seem very productive.  I could only think of two meal ideas at the time when I was making my upcoming week's entries.  So for the majority of my week, I feel like I've had to wing it most nights for supper without much help from my menu in the bullet journal!  I guess the success of a weekly menu has various factors involved, like whether or not you have recently been to the grocery store and have the ingredients you need, how many times you go out to eat, when payday is, if the recipe you saw online that made your mouth water actually made it to your weekly menu or not(!) etc., etc.

Even though it didn't seem to serve much purpose this past week, I'll probably continue having a menu page in my bullet journal until I can hire a personal chef (ha ha) because I need all the help I can get when it comes to meals and cooking!  Some weeks are just going to be more organized than others, and that's ok!

What are some ways that you use your Bullet Journal?  Have you tried it with your menus?

Happy Weekend!

How I Use My Bullet Journal

Good Afternoon!

I wanted to share some examples this week from my bullet journal entries.  I thought that I would try a new one, one that is faith-based for me.  I have been Bible journaling for a while, and thought that I would try this out in my bullet journal instead!  I am picky about how I journal/draw in my Bible.  I'm the type of person that doesn't want to draw on the words of Scripture, which leaves me not a whole lot of room.  Since my bullet journal has a LOT more room per page, I thought it would be a great place to experiment!  I feel like it worked really well, and I was pleased with the larger "canvas" that I had.  I was able to write out a whole verse from one of my favorite books, Psalm, and put some stickers and a stamp on there as well.  I may start doing more of this in my bullet journal!  Are there any other Bible Journalers out there?  I would love to hear about what works for you in your Bullet Journals!  Until next time,

Marie

Info about my blog

Good Morning!
I have been trying out the bullet journal system for several months, and am really enjoying this journey (and a more organized life), so I just wanted to share this with you!  I would love to hear about your bullet journal ideas as well!  I want this to be a community where we can just be here to support each other with our ideas, yet still strive for uniqueness with our own bullet journals, there is no right or wrong here!

Blessings!
